Membership Cancellation Policy. Members may cancel their Direct Debit
Agreement (non-rolling) only on the following grounds: a) Illness or Incapacity, supported by a doctor’s letter, b) If you move away from the area, a
distance greater than ten miles, c)
If you become unemployed (evidence required).
By accessing the gym and using the equipment, our members are deemed to have read and understood the membership Terms and Conditions.
- The Direct Debit Guarantee allows you to stop your payments at any time, but there are penalties. If you stop your payments (non-rolling) before the 12 month agreement duration has come to an end, Sandbach Health and Fitness will charge you a month's subscription plus £5 per month for every month you have kept to your agreement. The reasoning is that, by starting a twelve-month direct debit agreement, you have received a £5 per month discount on the normal basic price. Therefore, as you have not kept to your agreement, you are liable for those months at the full basic rate, plus a month's notice payment. For example, if you started your 12-month agreement in March and then stopped in September you will be charged 6 x £5 = £30 plus your one-month subscription in lieu of notice. If you give one month's notice of cancelling your agreement you will only be charged the £5 per month for the number of months you have kept to your agreement.
- You may cancel classes anything up to 6 hours prior to the class starting. If you cancel a class within 6 hours of a class starting, you will lose a class credit (members) or be charged without refund (Pay As Yo Go users) Please note that this non refund cancellation window is well below the average time allocated by other gyms, at least 50%
